Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation – Floyd Clark Memorial / Lee-Davis PTSA

Open to Lee-Davis High School graduates, with preference given to applicants pursuing a career in Law Enforcement and a minimum GPA of 2.5.

 

Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation – Dinwiddie County Farm Bureau

Open to Dinwiddie County residents pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Life Sciences.  Preference given to Farm Bureau members and applicants with a higher GPA.

 

Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation – Damon E Davis Memorial Endowment

Open to students residing in Essex County, with preference given to students majoring in any area of law.

 

Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation – Dale Godwin Memorial Endowment

Open to Lee-Davis High School graduating seniors with a minimum of 4 years participating in sports (school or youth sports).

 

Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation – Carolyn Marie Clanton Memorial Endowment

Open to Essex County or King and Queen County residents.

 

Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation – Ben Garrett Memorial Endowment

Open to Hanover County residents with a demonstrated interest in agriculture.

 

Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation – Annie K. Longest and Earl H. Longest Memorial Endowment

Open to King and Queen County residents

 

Virginia High School League – Col. Charles E. Savedge Student Journalist Scholarship

Open to graduating seniors with a minimum of 2 staff years on yearbook, newspaper/magazine or equivalent participation through contributions to community or professional publications. Applicants must demonstrate leadership, writing skills, design aptitude, creativity, organization, industry, teamwork, and character. Applicants apply to an accredited college/university and be nominated by a faculty member.

 

Central VA Chapter-National Forum for Black Public Administrators Manuel Deese Scholarship Award Program

The student must be a U.S. citizen and reside in the Central Virginia area

Siblings or relatives of active members who meet all other eligibility and criteria may be given extra consideration for scholarships

Full time students will be given priority consideration for scholarships

The student must be an African-American high school senior, undergraduate or graduate student enrolled or enrolling in a college or university setting in an accredited public administration program or other field that could lead to a career in public administration

The student must maintain a good academic standing; GPA 2.5 or higher

The student must complete and submit an application packet.

 

 

 

Virginia Department of Education – Granville P. Meade Scholarship

Open to residents of Virginia who are high school seniors expecting to attend college.  Students are selected based on GPA, standardized test scores, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, and financial need. See Guidance Office for application.
