M. W. Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Virginia Free and Accepted Masons Scholarship Fund for High School Graduates (Masonic)

Scholarships will be awarded to high school graduates who are the children or grandchildren of a Prince Hall Mason in Virginia.  Awards are based on unusually high academic achievement and awarded on the basis of need and outstanding citizenship, leadership, service and participation in activities both in and out of school.

 

Virginia Music Educators’ Association – VMEA – Past Presidents’ Scholarship

Two cash awards are available.  One award will be designated for band/orchestra majors and one award will be for vocal/general music majors.  The recipient must plan to attend a Virginia four-year college or university in the fall after graduating high school.  The student must be entering college as a music education major.

 

Eastern Surfing Association Marsh Scholarship Program

Applicant must be an Eastern Surfing Association current member in good standing.  The scholarship is based on academics and citizenship, rather than athletics.  An official school transcript is required, along with a letter detailing your future goals.  An official application and letter of recommendation are also required.

 

General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Virginia – Phyllis V. Roberts Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Agricultural Science, Animal or Poultry Science, Wildlife Conservation or Forestry.

 

General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Virginia-Mary Macon McGuire Scholarship

This scholarship is given to a Virginia woman returning to school to upgrade her education and employment skills.  The applicant must be a woman head of household and a resident of Virginia.  The applicant must be currently enrolled in a course of study (vocational or academic) at an accredited Virginia school. An essay, resume and references must be included.

 

Virginia P.E.O. Foundation State Scholarship Fund

Available to women domiciled in Virginia to attend an accredited Virginia school of higher education on a full time basis. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, have financial need and be well-rounded in activities and have life or career goals that can be met through a specific field of study.  Three current character recommendations are required.

 

 

Virginia Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Scholarship for All Majors

Students must plan to attend college and will major in any field other than nursing.  One does not need to be a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), however, one must have a sponsoring chapter.  Scholarships based on merit and financial need.

 

Virginia Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Nursing Scholarship

For students who plan to attend a nursing program.  Must have a sponsoring chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), however, applicant does not need to be a member.   Scholarship based on merit and need.

 

Media Fellows Program Scholarships

We seek to support students demonstrating a combination of merit and financial need whose academic interests are at the intersection of advertising and public policy. This includes (but is not limited to) Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business, Political Science, Strategic Media and other majors.

 

Communication Disorders Foundation of Virginia (CDF) Graduate Student Scholarships

The Communication Disorders Foundation of Virginia (CDF) is pleased to offer the $4,000 Rita Purcell-Robertson Scholarship, the $4,000 David H. Narburgh Scholarship, and the $3,000 Pat Thomas Dewey Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year (to be awarded based on available funding). These scholarships are designed to recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding clinical potential.  The three awards will be granted to current or rising full-time (as defined by the university) graduate degree-seeking students (Master’s, AUD or PhD) in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology enrolled in a Virginia university.
