Virginia Lakes and Watershed Association – Leo Bourassa Undergraduate Scholarships

The mission of the Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association is to promote and educate the public on good lake and watershed management, encourage sustainable storm water management practices and protect the welfare of lakes and other water resources within the Commonwealth.  To help further our mission, we would like to award scholarships to support and acknowledge deserving students who are studying in fields related to water resources. In the past, the Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association has annually awarded from two to four scholarships ranging in value from $500 to $3,000 each.

The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic performance, contribution to the field of water resources, and related extracurricular activities. The Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association intends to award a minimum of one scholarship to an undergraduate student and one scholarship to a graduate student. More scholarships may be awarded based on the number and quality of applicants.
