Upsilon Nu Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Kavansa B. Smith Memorial Scholarship
Student must be a senior African American male from the Richmond area. Criteria includes: a completed application with preference given to students who plan to attend or have been accepted at a historically black college or university, but students planning to attend other institutions are encouraged to apply; the scholastic ability of the students with a minimum GPA of 2.5; the financial needs of the student; and the strength of references from individuals qualified to attest to the character, disposition, financial need and/or ability of the student to compete on the collegiate/university level.
