John Randolph Foundation – Bo Partin, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

To promote continuing education by awarding scholarships to a deserving student or alumnus from Hopewell High School, Prince George High School, Thomas Dale High School, or Maggie Walker & Appomattox Regional Governor School (home school would have been one of the above mentioned high schools) who plans to major in business/economics. Priority will be given to a student who plans or currently attends VMI. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, an active record of community service and strong leadership qualities.

 

Community Foundation – Perry-White Charitable Scholarship

Open to high school graduates of the Hopewell, Prince George, Petersburg, Colonial Heights areas and the following high schools in Chesterfield: Matoaca, Thomas Dale, L.C. Bird, and Meadowbrook. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to good academics, school and community activites, show financial need, and plan on attending either William and Mary, Randolph College, Randolph-Macon College, VCU/MCV School of Pharmacy, UVA or Longwood University.

 

Community Foundation – Elizabeth Claire Strother Memorial Scholarship

Open to seniors attending Thomas Dale High School in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Applicants must: demonstrate a commitment to school activities; participate in school-sponsored athletics; have a solid academic record; show financial need; and be recommended by a faculty member.

 

Community Foundation – Dorothy & Larry Armstrong Community Service Scholarship

Open to graduates of Thomas Dale High School in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The recipient of the scholarship will be the student who has contributed the most to the community during their high school years. Academic work and participation in school activities will also be considered.

 

Community Foundation – Anne Micou Delhagen Scholarship Fund

Supports qualifying graduates of Thomas Dale High School or Carver College & Career Academy which was formerly Chesterfield Community High School. The recipient of the scholarship will be the student who has shown the ability to capitalize on hidden potential. Applicants must show: demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles that could influence academic performance and ability to capitalize on hidden potential based on personal statement; academic achievement based on grade point average and SAT scores; and extracurricular activities and involvement in the community.

 

John Randolph Foundation – Plato George Eliades Law Scholarship

Open to to seniors attending Hopewell High School, Prince George High School, Thomas Dale High School or Appomattox Regional Governor’s School pursuing a college education with an interest in the fields of law and law enforcement, who demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular activities and desire.  Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

 

John Randolph Foundation – Katy Clayton Memorial Scholarship

Open to Thomas Dale High School seniors pursuing college education in any course of study. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

 

John Randolph Foundation – John and Wilber Traylor Scholarship

Open to seniors attending Hopewell High School, Prince George High School, Thomas Dale High School or West End Christian School pursuing college education in any course of study. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular activities and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
