Open to seniors or graduates of Prince George High School or seniors attending Appomattox Regional Governor’s School or Maggie Walker Governor’s School who would have attended Prince George High School. Must be pursuing a career as an educator and demonstrate financial need, academic achievement and community involvement.
Open to residents of selected cities in Virginia pursuing a course of study or receiving appropriate training as a full- or part-time fire fighter, police officer or emergency medical provider; OR currently volunteering or has volunteered as such in the past, OR a dependent of a full- or part-time fire fighter, police officer or emergency medical provider. Open to high school seniors that were relocated to the Richmond area (including City of Richmond, Hanover, Henrico, Chesterfield, Goochland, Powhatan) between 9th and 12th grade. Applicants are evaluated on academic performance, standard test scores, extra-curricular activities, and an essay addressing the way they handled the challenges associated with relocating to a new high school.
Open to Virginia students, who are selected based on: academic achievement, class rank, standardized test scores, participation in high school, church or synagogue activities, as well as the quality of application essays, and a demonstrated financial need.
Open to high school seniors who are active Argent members by September 1 of the year before the application deadline and meet account holder eligibility requirements as outlined in the application. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher; demonstrate strong interest and leadership skills in extracurricular activities and community service organizations and write an essay of 250-500 words each on a subject listed on website.
Open to New Kent County graduating seniors pursuing a degree in agriculture, forestry, or education. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
