Scholarships

Scholarships range from $3,000 to $20,000.

Scholarship amounts are determined based on need.

Scholarships will be disbursed equally across the years of the degree. For example, a scholar awarded $6,000 to attend community college would receive $3,000 per year for two years. A scholar awarded $10,000 for a four-year university would receive $2,500 per year for four years.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be born outside the U.S. or have two parents born outside the U.S.
• Applicant must be planning to enroll full-time at an accredited public college or university in the academic year the award is offered.
• Applicant must be either a graduating senior at a high school in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia or a recent GED grad residing in DC, Maryland or Virginia.
