Scholarships

Minimum Criteria to Apply for CVNLA Scholarship: Students must have a minimum 2.00 cumulative
grade point average and must be pursuing an education/career in horticulture.
Scholarship Selection Process: Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of grade point average
and scholarship application points. Scholarship applications are evaluated on appearance, spelling,
grammar, letter of recommendation and the answers to the four questions on the application form.
Scholarship awards are subject to the availability of funds. The following items must be enclosed with
your CVNLA Scholarship Application Form:
(1) Letter of recommendation from one of the following: High school official Faculty member or
administrator Employer, neighbor or community/organization representative
(2) Copy of transcript of courses completed up to date in Horticulture Curriculum at current
school or past schools.
