Open to Mechanicsville High School graduates accepted to a 4-year college/university with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Open to Dinwiddie County residents pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Life Sciences. Preference given to Farm Bureau members and applicants with a higher GPA.
Open to students residing in Essex County, with preference given to students majoring in any area of law.
Open to Mechanicsville High School graduating seniors with a minimum of 4 years participating in sports (school or youth sports).
Open to Essex County or King and Queen County residents.
Open to Hanover County residents with a demonstrated interest in agriculture.

Open to graduating seniors with a minimum of 2 staff years on yearbook, newspaper/magazine or equivalent participation through contributions to community or professional publications. Applicants must demonstrate leadership, writing skills, design aptitude, creativity, organization, industry, teamwork, and character. Applicants apply to an accredited college/university and be nominated by a faculty member.
Open to residents of Virginia who are high school seniors expecting to attend college. Students are selected based on GPA, standardized test scores, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, and financial need.
The PTA of Bettie Weaver Elementary School (BWE) has established a scholarship grant to a college-bound graduating senior. Open to any college-bound graduating senior who attended Bettie Weaver Elementary School for all or part of elementary school.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate respect and awareness for the environment and the local community, as
evidenced by active volunteer involvement. In addition, the candidate should possess exemplary personal
characteristics: honesty, courtesy, responsibility, empathy, tolerance, and respect for others.
